North texas medical clinic

Your health is our top priority and we are committed to providing you with the best possible care. We are constantly striving to improve our services and facilities to ensure that you receive the highest quality care.

When it comes to health, we believe strongly in the quote, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure“. After seeing thousands of patients in Texas for more than 18 years in office and hospital setting, Dr.Gurrapu cannot insist enough about the importance of early detection of any potential health issues.

Primary care is where your health care starts! It is the focal point of your wellness exams, initial consultations and diagnosis and identifying the right specialists as needed.

One should also understand the difference between a regular primary care or family practice physician and Internal medicine when you schedule your physical. Internal medicine doctors also called Internists, such as Dr.Gurrapu and Dr.Zafar, are trained in each of the internal medicine subspecialties (such as endocrinology, rheumatology, and infectious diseases) and neurology. Internists gain a thorough experience in psychiatry, dermatology, ophthalmology, office gynecology, otorhinolaryngology, non-operative orthopedics, palliative medicine, sleep medicine, geriatrics, and rehabilitation medicine to comprehensively care for adults.

We put you first

Our Health Services & Benefits

Keeping your body and mind strong, starting with your core health.

Diabetes, HTN, Cold, Flu

It is crucial to seek medical assistance and take the appropriate measures to keep yourself and your loved ones safe, regardless of the severity of the symptoms that you are experiencing.

Annual Physicals & Immunization

An annual physical or annual physical exam is a visit to your doctor once a year to make sure your health is good overall and that you don't have any health problems you don't know about.

Chronic Disease Management

Diseases are better handled by using an integrated care strategy that incorporates screenings, checkups, therapy monitoring and coordination, and patient education.

Acute Disease Management

Acute diseases typically develop rapidly and have a brief duration, typically a few days or weeks. Your time is valuable, therefore let's expedite and ensure your recovery.

Postpartum Medical Complication

At NTMC, we care about your mental and physical well-being. Tell your doctor immediately if you are having mental health problems as a result of a medical complication.

Postpartum Depression & Anxiety

With the assistance of cognitive behavioral therapy, let's give you or a loved one a fighting chance against depression and anxiety. Prescription treatments are also available if prescribed by a NTMC physician.

Cancer Screening, Osteoporosis

Determine the presence of bone density loss before a fracture occurs. Screening tests are also useful for detecting cancer in its earliest, symptom-free stages. It may be easier to treat or even cure aberrant tissue or cancer if it is discovered at an earlier stage. Don't wait until you have symptoms; book an appointment with your doctor as soon as possible.

Thyroid & Other Hormonal Problems

The thyroid gland releases triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4). These hormones are an essential component of the endocrine system and play a vital part in the regulation of your body's weight, energy levels, internal temperature, the growth of your skin, hair, and nails, as well as your metabolism. You can do something about it, book an appointment today.

Medical Clearances

A medical clearance is primarily an authorization from an evaluating doctor that a patient is cleared, or declared healthy enough, for a proposed surgery, travel, or activity. Your medical clearance exam will be similar to a regular physical exam, but it will also be tailored to the needs of the specific Medical Clearance purpose.

If you have a medical emergency please call 911.

A primary care physician (PCP) is a doctor who is a person’s first point of contact when they have a health problem that hasn’t been diagnosed yet. They also provide ongoing care for a wide range of medical conditions that aren’t limited by cause, organ system, or diagnosis. When looking for a PCP, you need to ensure they are Board Certified, have experience in  Internal medicine vs standard family care or primary care physician, and have knowledge of complex issues and the ability to spot them before they get worse.
