As the community acquired Coronavirus cases (without any known travel or previous exposure) are increasing in the surrounding counties, we all have to be even more careful and socially responsible. We are all in this together and we all will get through this together.
Individuals can be asymptomatic and contagious for a significant period of time. Performing non-essential care in person during this critical time unnecessarily brings people into our facilities while using critical supplies of personal protective equipment and risking the health of medical professionals.
Here are a few procedures that our office is establishing in cooperation and guidance with our affiliated hospitals.
- If you suspect COVID symptoms, please call our office or book online for an appointment. The appointment will be a Televisit. If COVID is suspected, we will order a COVID test. We are not testing COVID on-site but will give you prescription and details on where to get this testing done.
- For all routine visits and mild sick visits , we will be converting your visit to a Televisit or Virtual visit with audio and video from Mar 23rd. Please see this link for more details on Telemedicine. Our staff will be calling you to help with this.
- For serious issues that need an office visit, our staff will be doing a phone screening. If COVID is suspected, office visit is not allowed and you will be given a different procedure with TeleVisit.
Appreciate your cooperation. We are in it together to fight this virus. We will get through this, together.
